F-Bomb's Words of Wisdom

Television

Well TV has certainly disappointed me once again. This time it comes in the form of “Nanny 911.” If you haven’t seen it, this is the show where Nannies help discipline children who were never parented correctly in the first place. So in essence we are sending the message to America that it is alright to not parent because someone somewhere will help you out. This is pure bullshit. Why should someone who wanted to be their kid’s friend instead of a parent get rewarded with help? Actually their reward is the fact that their kids run all over them. It just bugs the crap out of me that we put up with this in our society. Maybe I should somehow get in a position to declare martial law and then get a shotgun and kill these people.

Politics

It has become apparent that all politicians do is put up smoke screens. One of the biggest smoke screens like this was put up by the Republican Party who claimed to take the moral high road. Well this illusion has come crashing down in the fall of one of the conservative party’s figure heads, Tom Delay. Delay has been linked to money laundering of sorts to help other republicans, his wife, and himself. Now is this the worse crime? The straight answer is no! However it is reprehensible that when these crimes surfaced the “moral” party did not remove him from office, nor did he remove himself. You are all welcome to read about it yourself at the link below:

Football

There have been a few surprises this year in the NFL. Patriots are up and down like a yo-yo, Charles Rodgers didn’t break his collar bone but he did get suspended for four games for violating the NFL substance abuse policy, and the Bengals are 4-0. Now am I happy that the Bengals don’t suck? Yes, very much so. But I cannot put up with this crap that the Bengals are that good. Look who their schedule has been: Cleveland, Minnesota, Chicago, and Houston. Well Cleveland sucks, no offense Kanka, Minnesota has underachieved all year so far, for Chicago see Cleveland, and Houston hasn’t played that well. Really my anger comes from the fact that ESPN has the Bengals ranked at number 3. Do you think that beating Houston 16-10 really warrant this ranking? No, hell the Steelers beat Houston 27-7 and they are ranked sixth and the Bengals only scrapped together a 16-10 victory. So let’s not suck off the Bengals just yet, wait till they beat someone good like the Steelers, Jaguars, or Indianapolis.

That’s all I got.
